Tell me about the nature of the project, in terms of scope, concept, design style, choice of materials, etc.
The Project began with the idea of using materials that make it feel a cozy, modern space with a minimalist style.
We look for a touch of nature in wood within the home as with tiles in soft stone-like tones.
We used the same bladosa for the whole house, giving a uniformity to the environment.
With the green details we added one more element of nature, inspired by what the client was looking for.
We made the whole house a warm space as they requested.

At what stage of the project did you decide to opt for a smart home and what did this require of you in terms of planning the electrical plans?
As soon as we saw the number of light switches we were going to need, we decided that it was the best option to opt for smart appliances.
Since the living room was very spacious and included the dining room and the kitchen, we agreed with the client to use this system.
We used four panels, two of them with eight commands and two with four.

What are the reasons why you chose Vitrea’s smart home?
First and foremost, since I worked with Vitrea previously and I know the service they provide, both budgeting, sales and after-sales, I did not hesitate to work together again.
I understand that in Vitrea I manage to find the switch models I am looking for for this type of project where, as in this case, minimalist design is the common denominator.
At the same time, to facilitate the use of them, they have the option of being able to include engravings, drawings, colors, giving me the freedom as a designer to be able to create according to the clients needs.

Why a smart home? What is its added value to everyday life?
In this particular house, as I mentioned previously, it was used only in the living room, kitchen and dining room, these being the spaces most used by the family.
They were strategically placed at the entrance doors, making it easier for the customer to identify the lights.
Your tips for planning a smart home?
There are many technologies available for smart homes, such as security systems, smart thermostats, automated lighting, connected appliances, etc.
You must decide which aspects of the home you would like to automate and prioritize the needs; For example, if security is the main concern, you can start with a smart security system.
It is necessary to verify that the devices chosen are compatible with each other so that they can work together and efficiently.
A strong Wi-Fi network is critical to a smart home. You should have a good router and consider installing additional access points if necessary.

The most useful and practical scenario in the family home? (What improves your quality of life the most?)
A very useful and practical scenario to improve the quality of life with a smart home is the automation of the lighting system. Not only can this make the home more energy efficient, but it can also improve comfort and security.
Imagine being able to program the lights to turn on gradually in the morning, simulating sunrise, which would help you wake up more naturally. In addition, motion sensors could be set up so that the lights automatically turn on when you enter a room and turn off when you leave, which is not only convenient, but can also help save energy.
Integrating lighting with a smart security system can provide a greater sense of security by simulating people at home when you are outside by randomly turning lights on and off.
These are just a few examples of how lighting system automation can improve the quality of life at home.
